I have a 2016 SDV6 HSE LR4 - bought as 2nd owner. I am in Brisbane, Australia.
I do a primarily beach driving incl towing a camper on occasions. The tyres that came with the vehicle are 20" rims and I feel prev owner fitted Mickey Thompson Deegan 265/50/R20. Excellent on road tyre however below par (IMO) sand tyre.
I am exploring changing my wheel rims and tyres to R19 or even R18. My tyre man says I need to identify where my LR was manufactured.
I used the 'Tools/VIN Decoder' and it didn't recognise my VIN SALLAAAF5GA800562. I've triple checked it to the info on the windscreen and my info is accurate yet decoder still doesn't recognise.
Any assistance in identifying country of manufacturer would be greatly appreciated ??

They were all built in the Solihull plant in the UK. However, some Middle Eastern spec vehicles were built in a plant in Aqaba, Jordan from knock-down kits that came from Solihull. These were assembled in Jordan for the local market. Your Australian spec L319 was built in Solihull, along with every Euro spec, NAS spec, etc.
