Just went to have the oil replace at local valvoline, and tech showed me a picture of a crack in the oil pan. Looks like it's not all the way through as it's not leaking, however they didn't want to touch the plug in fear that the torque would cause the crack to start leaking.

Question: On a 2013 LR4, is the oil pan able to be removed and replace from under the car, or is this an instance where the engine needs to be lifted to gain access to replace the oil pan?

I'm fairly savvy and have done a lot of repairs on my rover, however have never had to do something as involved as lifting the engine.
