Default LR4 Silver Edition Tailgate Badge?

Hi all - New guy here. I'm looking at buying a 2016 LR4 stated to be a16.5 MY LR4 Silver Edition. Shouldn't that come with the HSE tailgate badge? It was my understanding the "silver" edition replaced the standard HSE models. Thanks!

So, I’m not 100% on this, but I believe the silver edition was not available in 2016 - at least not in the last half of 2016. It was replaced by the Landmark model, which definitely has distinctive landmark badging. If it has no badging at all on the tailgate, I think it’s either a base model or someone removed the badge.

This website has all the old brochures that might help you out: https://www.auto-brochures.com/land_rover.html. You might also be able to stick the VIN into the land rover topix site and get a readout of the options on the car. Not sure if that’s still available - probably have to at least register for a free account.

In case you are not already aware, regardless of the model trim level, none of the 2014-2016 cars had low-range gearing or locking center/rear differentials without the HD package. Without the HD package, you have only single speed transfer case (high range gears), an open rear diff, and a Torsen center diff (which is different than the locking center diff on the HD package). To some people, it doesn’t matter, but thought I’d mention it.
