Vehicle: 2011 LR4 HSE 95k miles

Issue: My wife's LR4 has been giving random transmission faults. Sometimes it will go 2 weeks, some times days. The failure at times we may also get a quick slip or jutter with no fault. When it faults only the lower gears will operate as you pull over. After restarting the vehicle it drives great. Using an iCarsoft I only get a 3-4 gear fault but I am pretty confident that this is happening in more than just the 3rd 4th gear range. I was on the interstate once and just gave it enough gas to continue up a slight hill and it faulted out. Doubt that was dropping from a locked torque converter to 4th, unless there is a shared clutch?...

So far: I have checked the transmission fluid level which is ok and what came out didn't look odd to me. Got about 0.5 L changed out that way once I realized that it is filled while running.

Any thoughts?
