Greetings! I'm on the wife's 3rd LR, this one being a 2015 LR4 with 85,000 miles.
Whelp, we have the dreaded head gasket failure happening. My local mechanic who has done the crossovers, suspension, etc. does not do head gaskets on these motors. He said they just replace the engine. Seems a bit extreme, but OK.
Was hoping someone may know of a reputable independent mechanic anywhere in Southern California that would take on a head gasket job. Sadly I don't have the time, facilities, or most importantly, SKILL, to take this on myself.
And I refuse to let the dealer violate me.

Try the British Garage in San Diego. Very reputable. If you are in San Diego County they do really good work and are reasonable. Phil
