Default Nav screen blacks out

We have a 2010 Range Rover sport hse. The nav screen recently started blacking out. When the truck is started the screen displays Range Rover. It is on for a few seconds and then blacks out. As you drive it comes back on shows Range Rover and blacks out again. I can also hear a click from the passenger footwell area when the screen shuts down. Is there a module located there. Any ideas? Thanks phil

Tried a hard reset. No luck. Charged the battery. No luck.

Got the following codes: u0184-00 (2f); b1a85-96 (2e) and u0010-00 (2a)

any ody have have any ideas. I heard that there is an audio control module but can’t figure out where it is located or a part number.

Phil

it was a failing control unit, the part that includes the CD player. It ended up dying completely. The control units are vin specific. Land Rover said that a used unit could not be reprogrammed. Land Rover said that I needed a brand new unit, a few thousand dollars. I local electrical shop here in San Diego called Luxe Electric was able to reprogram a used unit to my vin. Works like new!
