Did any of you tried to do navigation upgrade to post-facelift IAM2.1 (MY14+)?
The difference in quality is huge as MY10-MY13 did not receive map updates since 2014 whilst the newer IAM2.1 has much better record.

There's huge difference as the old unit is all in one, whilst IAM2.1 is screen + unit separately. That itself is not that tricky.

The difficult part might be in wiring as I've read somewhere long time ago that the old unit whilst compatible with LR3, etc. is not compatible with newer LR4 due to MOST speeds.
With that said - did they replace all the logic on newer LR4? There must be away to connect the newer navi to older LR4 keeping all visibility of 4x4, etc. settings.
