Hi everyone,
I've been interested in owning an LR for some time now. Mostly owned VWs up till now (hopefully that doesn't count against me!)
As a LR novice, both LR4 and Disco 5 seem like great daily drive (and occasional offroad) options

I can do basic maintenance on my own, but depend on a brand specialist for more complex issues..
Which of the two would be a safer bet for reliability? In case of Disco 5, is the diesel powertrain a good choice?
