For those that know, how long would a LR genuine SDV6 3.0 engine replacement take to deliver and install, is it quicker to do an engine rebuild? Based in UK thanks.

 

Probably better off to ask this question on Disco3.co.Uk since that’s a UK based forum —much more familiarity with your engine over there.

For new (or off the shelf rebuilt) versus rebuild yourself/by a garage, the former is going to be faster if it’s in stock. Self rebuild would likely be cheaper depending on what is wrong with it since you might be able to reuse some parts.
