New to Me - 2013 LR4
Hi. Been looking for an additional LR3 or an LR4 for a while now. I have had an 08 LR3 HSE with HD Package and OEM Winch for about 6 years. Finally found one locally (Madison, Wisconsin) which checked all the boxes. It's a black 2013 LR4, HSE LUX, with Black Design Package (19" wheel version). And Black interior. So yes, it is VERY 'Black'. My daughter loves it... Also comes with oem front Brush Bar and oem rear Ladder. Along with oem hitch (with 2 keys) and oem cross roof rails (with 2 keys). And full oem rubber mat set, including rear cargo area. 91,000 miles. 2 owners. Been serviced at same local Land Rover Dealership from new. Needs nothing. Everything works. My gut feeling is that it was garage-kept it's whole life, judging by its condition. It's definitely a 9.5 / 10, both inside and outside. Leather seats and steering wheel are nice and soft, and are not showing the slightest sign of dryness or cracking. Very pleased with this one - I do not feel that I have 'settled' or 'compromised' in any way. Anybody else on here also have an LR3? I do a fair amount of Off-Roading with the LR3, but will probably keep the LR4 looking nice, for at least a little while. I'll take some photos soon, and post them here. I have the GAP IIDTool, VIN-locked to LR3 - I'll add this LR4 to it. Front windscreen cowling is not at all warped - Sitting nice and tight, against the windscreen. Will be interesting to see what I first need to 'fix' in it. Previous owner traded it in to Zimbrick, which is where I purchased it from, a few days ago. They did put new Tires on it - Sort of 'normal' Tires, so at some point I'll put on something more aggressive. I'm running BFG KO2 on the LR3. Very happy with those tires. Cheers, Simon.
I just bought a 2013 LR4 with HD package. Its an HSE not Lux, so you lucked out with Lux. Your truck looks beautiful. I offroad quite a bit in my 07 RR SC thats been modified. I love it bc the AJV8 engine is reliable like your 4.4L in the LR3 and its cheaper to repair than the 5.0 engines. But I couldn't help it bc it was a great find like yours, 2 owner, garage kept, tight and clean throughout and had HD. I have to say though, the torque in the AJ133 seems to kick in faster than the AJV8. Got to love the larger displacement.
