New to me LR4
Finally found “close” to what I was going for.
It is not without its small and larger issues:
2015 LR4 HSE Lux, 2 speed transfer case, tow package, never an insurance claim, premium sound. And Aintree Green on tan 😁
Now the not so good news;
Its getting new rear brake lines.
Somehow the satellite radio antennae was destroyed.
The dreaded coolant hose leak under the supercharger.
Been a while since the filters were changed
for that matter, clearly (yuk, yuk, yuk) all the fluids as well.
Someone put on “made in china” cheap tires… that were under sized and claimed to be AS…. I didn’t think they were fit for any season so that was immediately remedied. Michelin X-Ice for the immediate moment. Perhaps the Toyo A/T or Pirelli Scorpions A/T in the coming days for the other 3 seasons.
And it seems the tow receiver was never removed from the “receiver”. I’ll start with liquid wrench and see how far that gets me.
He (its a boy) drives straight and true. Brakes are fine for this summer. No issues with the power train nor the air suspension.
And then I was thinking…. keep it close to “factory”? or have fun with it and put on big bad bumper, ladder, roof platform…. I haven’t made up my mind yet.
