Default New member Bull Bar question

Hi Everyone,

New to this forum, have had my LR4 for a year and slowly starting to upgrade.
Added front runner rack, different rims and off road tires. Next is Wilco spare tire carrier and some lift rods.

Spending more time off road and having an issue finding a bull bar that is not ARB. Dont want the bulky bar and weight and I dont see myself using a winch.
Just a good solid bar where I can also mount some lights.

Thanks in advance if you have any suggestions!

Is this the sort of thing you're after VPLAP0022.

Thanks but I am looking for something a bit more sturdy. Will have an A shape bar made by local custom welder instead.

Default T44 Bull Bar

I recently purchased this LR4 that had the T44 bull bar already installed. I've since installed a winch, which went in really easily. I would recommend if you go this route, be sure to keep all the parts to your parking sensors until you have them completely installed in the new bumper. The previous owner of mine didn't so the units are just tie-wrapped into the bumper which looks stupid and will eventually break.

Pnwdriver, did you get anywhere with your search? I bought a 2012 last week and I’m liking for the same.

I put one on that was designed by Warn for a 4Runner. It’s solid! Very happy, just some cutting and drilling. Grade 10 bolts. I did cut the radiator support for the Zeon winch controller, but you could use their remote kit and mount it in the engine bay.
Trimming the plastic bumper cover took some time. Mine has the Vision assist package, so, some extra work to mount cameras and parking sensors.

The 4Runner one is still by far the best looking one I have seen. Functional without being too large. I may convert to that route too if I can find a used one cheap.

It looks good. Very. Did you take any pics of the install you could share?

I do have some pictures and a lengthy description here.... https://landroverforums.com/forum/lr...al-way-100455/

Air suspension valve block and washer reservoir.

Need to trim Warn mount plate to clear this on the AC condenser.

OEM bumper support. I clamped this to new winch mount to mark drilling locations.

Measurements

OEM mount on frame.

Sketch of Warn mount plate

Scale of Warn bumper.

Warn 4Runner mount. Trim and drill as needed.

Mount for air suspension valve block
