Turning 75k, time for new rotors and pads. Went with Stoptech slotted fronts (126.22011SR/SL), and and just high quality stoptech rears (125.22010), EBC orange stuff pads. Super happy with first couple hundred miles. Vastly improved over OEM. Quite a bit more expensive than OEM too, but worth it. Replaced all the caliper bolts/hardware while I was at it.

I've had my eye on a big brake conversion kit to get full 6 piston front and 4 or 6 in the rear.. but can't talk myself into it yet. Fairly certain it will all be for looks and very little performance gain on these vehicles. What few reviews I've found on people that have installed the brembo's off the RRS have reported no noticeable breaking difference.. but looks are amazing. If anyone knows different here, let me know!

Thanks and that’s the truth! Will see how they wear and continue to perform. Noticing much more break dust - anticipated and currently not bothered at least.

 

Rover/Brembo calipers will fit with no modification, but make certain you've got wheel clearance, I believe the smallest wheel suitable is 20". Bembos will perform better, more pistons, more rotor surface, over time and heavy braking, towing heavy loads, less fade, etc. Daily driving probably less noticeable.
