Default One of the Homelink buttons stopped working

Hi Everyone. Homelink button #1 suddenly stopped working, but 2 & 3 still work fine. The light no longer illuminates when I press 1, but it does when I press the other buttons. 1 controls an automatic gate, 2 & 3 control 2 separate garage doors.

Is anyone aware of an easy fix for this (blown fuse, etc.)? Or is it more likely that I’ll need to replace the entire rear view mirror?

I appreciate your input!

I wonder if they just wear out? The first button on mine doesn’t work either.

You’re probably right. I was hoping that someone had a magic fix or reset process that I could try before replacing. I guess I’ll replace the entire mirror.

I only need one button, so I've never really researched it. Maybe it could use a good cleaning?
