Default Passenger window switch jammed/inop

For some reason the front passenger window switch appears to be in some type of a "lock" mode. I can operate the window from the driver side panel, and can roll the window up from the passenger switch. It will not allow me to push down on the switch, it's locked/jammed for the down position. Any thoughts? Thanks!

does the switch seem broken? As it doesn't spring back into natural position?
