Default Quick question...

On the auto door locks, when you press on the drivers door button (pic 1), the car locks. Is that the same on the passenger door (pic 2)?

They all work the same on mine. Its faster to shut the drivers door and while its closing quick draw to the rear passenger handle to push the button right when the door latches to lock the truck.

powershift, I'm a little confused... when you say they all work the same on mine... do you mean BOTH doors lock when you press the button or ONLY the drivers door locks everything... the trunk auto locks with the doors... right?

Pressing any of the 4 buttons once locks everything.

including the 2nd picture above (press once)? because mine doesn't work and I was going to go down that rabbit hole to fix it... there's not a lock logo like the 1st picture above (which is the drivers side)

the lock logo signifies a key hole beneath the cover. It's well laid out in the Owner's Manual.

So about that... I would expect either both buttons work, or both do not.
(Based on the fact a singular defective door lock module would disable these features)
And no codes...
So I'd go after the low hanging fruit first. Contacts clean and "contacted"?

Actually the buttons do fail on these which has no effect on anything else, it's simply the contacts which've failed. Have the same problem on my X150 Jag, driver's handle pull unlocks, but button doesn't lock passenger's fine and even with low miles and little use. Started intermittently requiring a firmer press then stopped working.
