Hello everyone, I am a newbie here. I bought a 2012 LR4 HSE about 3 weeks ago and absolutely love it. I want to upgrade the reverse lights, rear fog lights, front turn signal, and maybe front fogs. I have been reading about CANBUS systems and I was wondering do I need to be worried about that with my vehicle? Do I need to purchase a certain bulb type that is specific for CANBUS? I have been searching this form and the other Land Rover forum without success. Also the YouTube videos I have found do not specifically put anything like that in their description.

I don't think interior bulbs are monitored by canbus; but have not checked myself yet

Adding LEDs to turn signals can sometimes cause a hyper flash/strobe light effect when indicating.

Also Be careful adding LED bulbs to the brake lights. It stops the cruise control from working.

 

Good to know about the brake lights. I have another vehicle I was going to do that on since my LR4 has LED brake lights already. I bought the reverse lights and license plate lights from precision LED. should get them soon.
