Angry Restricted Performance - vehicle won't accelerate

Hey folks,

I've got a 2011 LR4 and for the most part, it operates just fine. But every so often both the yellow and red warning lights turn on, the car buckles a little and then it won't accelerate past 10mph. The messages in the display rotate as follows: "Restricted Performance", "HDC Not Available System Fault", "Stability Control Not Available Drive Carefully", and "Emergency Brake Assist Not Available".

I've taken it to a specialist and the dealership and they can't figure it out. Had the ECM(?) replaced as well. Desperately looking for some clues as to what's going on.

Having the same issue. Still haven't been able to find the source of the issue. Indy shop told me it could be the throttle body or the ecu. Battery was replaced, throttle body was cleaned, map and maf were cleaned. Only happens intermittently but has been getting worse.

Started giving throttle position actuator code and camshaft position sensor code as well.

Perhaps the battery was replaced…. but when there are this many unrelated systems misbehaving, it is surely an electrical issue.
Humour us. With the vehicle not running and sitting all night long not on a charger, report the battery voltage.

Without codes, all you'll get here is wild speculation

True enough. When you read the workshop manual you will discover that the comment above is the first pinpoint test… always.

So I went and got a new battery and replaced the camshaft position sensor. I have not had a single problem since then. Car has been running fine.
