Are there roof racks available that would extend slightly past the roof rack rails on an LR4? Looking for the same style that comes with the car because I already have bike/kayak/canoe rack attachments for that style.

Yes, and no.

If you mean a rail that would mount on the roof that would extend forward up around the sunroof, then look at part # VPLAR0075 which will mount on your roof and allow your cross bars to move farther forward. Sounds like you already have the short rail mounts that do not extend forward past the sunroof (part# LR055254) if so:

Simply remove the 6 plastic caps, the 6 torx bolts and remove the rail you have now, and then install the new rail with the 8 mounting bolts.
