Default Rough idle when cold

I have a 2011 landrover l4 with the V8, I'm having a problem with rough idle only when cold, after the engine is warmed up it goes away. Runs just fine when hot and with no roughness. Search the Internet for similar problems and everything points to a vanos solenoid valve that may be dirty or not working. Is there such a thing on the 2011 L4? It has 140 miles, and I just changed the plugs, everything looked normal, and the plugs looked normal for 140k miles and it did not make any change in the symptoms. Not getting any engine codes, and problem seems to go away after the engine is warm. Any help you can provide would be appreciated? Thanks, tom

If you changed the plugs at 140K, you my want to reset the fuel trims.
I have seen this happen when plugs are changed at higher than normal miles, and subsequent hot or cold rough idle occur.

Did you ever find out what was causing rough idle when cold? My 2011 with 146K miles is doing the same thing. If temp gets 55 degrees or colder.
