Default Rough idle after oil change

Hey guys, I am getting a rough idle after an oil change. Used Rotella as normal. I put in just over 7 quarts as normal. Now she runs a little rough. No codes or CEL. Accelerates great and otherwise drives fine. And after it warms up it idles fine. Only when first cranked cold does it idle rough. Weird right? Any ideas?

7 quarts? I run a Mobil 1-301 extra capacity filter and can only get 6 maybe 6.3 quarts in there. Probably not your issue. What weight oil? Heavy weight? Is it cold where you are?

I'm battling a rough idle issue also am stumped as well.

Hey coors, ya 7 was a mistype. I am running 15w40 as I always do. It idles rough and really feels like it wants to die. Almost like when I did the seafoam induction cleaning... I just have no idea what could causing it.

My truck did not start this morning. I think it may be a crank position sensor.

Good luck on getting your truck back running. My rough idle has gone away, so I'm wondering if some water or something was causing it.
