Land Rover Discovery Sport 2015 - 2019
Land Rover Range Rover Evoque 2012 - 2022
Description:

Here's the skinny:

  • 4-piston monoblock fixed front calipers (Advics)
  • 4-piston fixed rear calipers (Wilwood)
  • Single-piston Brembo (Telsa) electric parking brake (with factory harness for plun-n-play operability)
  • 360mm/350mm front/rear drilled and slotted rotors with electro-coated finish (Dynamic Friction) - top coated with ceramic urethane
  • Low dust ceramic brake pads (Power Stop/EBC)
  • Stainless DOT lines and fittings (Russel)
  • Chromoly adapters with class 10.9 fasteners
  • Coated with ceramic urethane, logos are painted on and cleared over, no raised letters.  Durable, and easy to clean.

Performance perks:
  • Fits inside OE 19" wheel diameter
  • Overall brake torque up ~35% - assuming rotor/pad friction coefficient approximates OE (resultant ~12% increase in demand at the master cylinder)
  • Front/rear brake bias within ~5% of OE spec
  • Pads are similar to the Brembo 4-pot type (132mm wide) and Wilwood Dynalites (both of which are uber common and come in a multitude of compounds should you wish):

Compatibility:
  • L538 Evoque (current) and L5550 Discovery Sport (last gen up to 2019)

Notes:
  1. Selling complete - this is the only one of it's kind
  2. Shipment will include the equipment list for easy replacement of consumables
  3. *Dust shields will need removed for necessary clearances*
  4. **Ensure your installer (if you're not a wrench) will install custom/aftermarket systems**

What thickness for rotors do theses take??
Also how did you calculate brake bias difference ?

Piston area x lever arm (axle to center of contact patch). It's over simplified, but representative of the two parameters that the new parts dictate. Friction coefficients remain as variables since pad and rotor material can be changed at will.

We ran this setup for two years, and the braking was dialed in all conditions, including winter in the Great Lakes where the ABS is frequently triggered.
