Very well maintained 08 LR3 HSE w A bar & AT tires
For Sale2008 Land Rover LR3
Description:
Hey everyone, I'm selling my ridiculously well maintained🙂 2008 LR3 HSE with the 4.4L V8 and 165k miles. I'm the third owner and have had it for about 50k miles. $7k or best offer, in Atlanta, GA. Almost every system has been gone over and/or replaced. No rust. Clean title and recently passed GA emissions. Read on for details.
Major options: factory A bar with auxillary lights (switched on the dash), running boards, factory dash wood trim and the upgraded leather option. 265/60/18 Falken Wild Peak AT3 AT tires with less than 10k miles on them, on 18" SE wheels, so much better tire selection than for the 19" HSE wheels. Frame mount Curt tow hitch and Tekonsha brake controller included (towed our medium size travel trailer about a half dozen times with it).
Am selling to make room for my next project. This is my third LR3 - so far! Read on for the extensive, proactive maintenance that I've done.
So this has been my hobby for the last few years obviously 🙂

-Coverlay dash cover installed since it had the typical cracks in the dash, pretty good factory look
Only issue I know of is that it has an occasional extended crank. Maybe 1 out of 10 times it will take 5+ seconds to start instead of firing up instantly. When this happens a pedal once to the floor to flood clear, then release, and it starts right up, which makes me think it's a fuel injector getting stuck open sometimes, but haven't tried to swap it out yet since it's intermittent and never been a problem for me. I will include the original injectors with the sale if I don't get around to doing it myself. In any case it always starts, runs great and nothing has changed for the last 5 or 10k miles or so.
Gets 19 mpg highway typically, and the usual 12-14 city mpg. Could also use fresh rear brakes sometime soon. Will include those parts if I don't install them myself before the sale.
Message or post here if you have any questions.
Really not sure what to ask for it but $7k will work. Best offer wins. If needed, buyer arranges shipping, but I can assist if needed.
