2001 Land Rover Discovery II: $7900

Clean Carfax , no accidents, original paint.  Original Denver Colorado car, moved to Oregon for remainder.  This Rover has been a mall cruiser its whole life.  I purchased this Rover as a project, former owners daughter had the oil changed and it threw a rod on the way home.  I found a core block and built it up as a winter project last year.  Too many vehicles, time to move it on.  Great foundation for an expedition rig ready to go anywhere.  Build it up or keep it stock, your call.

Notables:

No check engine lights, no 3 amigos, no rust!, Bilstein shocks, Michelins (80%), NON Air injection (no SAI), factory cats, working sunroofs, non sagging headliner, new ignition, keys, dash display and Pioneer Carplay head unit w/ video (someone tried to steal), working alarm, inline thermostat mod 180 degree.  Carfax last entry was 89k miles, then 228k sometime later.  Prior owner told me when the dealer replaced the mileage display the mileage was incorrect.  Not sure what to make of this, but after pulling the motor and going through everything, I cant really think this rig has 228k miles.  Nevertheless, that’s how it’s being sold.  It even has the original spare tire! (no cracks).  No towing (mint receiver) I have a set of Thule rack bars also.  Has CDL and an A$hcroft  shifter mechanism which needs final adjustment, goes into 4low just fine. Have factory bullbar not installed.
Recent:

 Fresh motor: New pistons .20 over, all bearings, rods resized, crank polished.  ARP head studs (not stretch bolts).  Heads done w/ performance valve guides, light port/polish, new rocker assembly’s, 4.6 liter cam, crower lifters, new oil pump.  All broken in approx. 2k miles since rebuild.  Serviced trans filter,all fluids in diffs and transfer case.  All receipts for products and machine work $$.
