Adventure vehicle ready for the road. This ’94 RRC has been thoroughly gone through and is ready to drive anywhere. It is not perfect, and has many small problems, but none of these issues affect its ability to drive across the country, up a mountain pass, down 100 miles of gravel roads, ford streams, or climb rock-strewn gulches. Comes with roof-mounted aux fuel can, and 17' 3-person canoe (w/ paddles, seats, life jackets).
This vehicle has driven on 4 cross-country road trips since 2018. The maintenance and repairs have taken just as long. It’s been a long-term project. The engine is smooth and reliable. It is very capable off-road, and can climb the great divide passes and keep up with heavily modded Jeeps – all without spinning a tire, or any other drama. The Defender-based suspension is the real hero off-road. Being a LWB model, the rear seats are like thrones, and when folded down, it has Suburban-like cargo room. Having said all that, it’s an old truck, and smells, drives, and creates emotions like an old truck.
A few notes about condition.

• There is no rust anywhere. None. Not a hole, or a bad spot, or even a bubbled spot. This car spent its life in dry western Colorado.
• Everything is stock. Engine, drivetrain, electrical. Nothing has been modded.
• Lots of rare over-priced NOS parts were installed to replace worn out stock parts.
• The interior is not the best. Many bits are broken, or have been fixed with the least modification possible. Everything important works. But many of the luxury car options from the “County” package just haven’t held up well. Some interior bits have been replaced with NOS parts, or the parts are included.
• Garage kept since 2017.
• The paint is old, faded, and has some “creative” color test swatches painted on it. No need to worry about scratches.

• Driver’s power seat/power mirrors control module does not work. Seat can be adjusted via jumper wires that motivate each seat motor.
• It either has heat or AC but not both at the same time. The main blend door is stuck, and as such, one must manually turn off the flow of coolant to the heater core in the summer using a valve under the hood.
• Front passenger door outer handle doesn’t work. This occasionally sets an issue with the factory alarm control that makes it difficult to auto-lock all the doors with the door key.
• The paint is really ugly. It has several miss-colored paint swatches. There are various dents and dings.
• The speedometer and odometer do not work.
• The windshield washer fluid level indicator light is stuck on.
• Both front leather seats are ripped and have been repaired with patches.
• The carpet kit for the rear cargo area is missing.
• The air suspension is long gone, and new springs and shocks have been installed.
• Sunroof is inoperable, but sealed tight.
• AC will only hold a charge for about 24 months. Must be a small leak.
• The original hood latch system was replaced by? with hood pin latches.
• I’m sure I’ve forgotten some other small issues, but none of them keep you from having fun.

• Hoses and belts replaced.
• Alternator replaced.
• ABS motor and accumulator replaced with P38 parts/conversion.
• Brake fluid flushed.
• All fluids changed.
• Oil pan gasket replaced.
• Front axle replaced.
• Steering components replaced-all.
• Transfer case viscous coupling replaced.
• Shocks and springs replaced.
• 5 matching fairly new BFG T/A tires and RRC wheels just rotated.
• Dash lights replaced with oem bulbs.
• New headliner.
• Stock aux light kit for Hella lights.
• New liftgate weather stripping.
• ARB bulbar and roof rack.
• All original or NOS parts installed for maintenance.
• Large box of spare hard-to-find parts included.
• Rear bumper fold-down guard, and hood mounted hi-lift jack included.
