Description:
This one pains me. Without getting into details, my neglected baby has to go to a deserving owner!
THE GOOD:
For sale is a black/tan 2005 LR3 HSE. This truck was newly rebuilt by Elias Christeas, Master Technician of World Proven LR in late 2016 at 85k miles. I acquired it essentially as new as could be in early 2017.
- A brand new transmission was installed at this time.
- This HSE is fully loaded. Hitch, lockers, 3rd row, etc. Land Rover Southbay has called it the cleanest LR3 they've seen. (maybe they say this to everyone?).
- 4 brand new Michelin Tires and full service by Land Rover Southbay approx 5k miles ago.
- Garage kept it's entire life
- Refrigerator!
THE BAD:
For the last 3 years it has been sitting a few months off, then a few on, as I have extended travel. Most recently it has sat for 6 months. (on stands and trickle).
It has been on a few adventures, but not nearly what it deserves.
- There is a paint chip on the front bumper.
- Some exterior plastic is starting to fade.
- The dreaded dash crack has just reared it's head! But disappears in hot sun...
THE UGLY:
Since sitting I have noticed two semi-major issues.
- The AC slowly leaks out. It seems to take recharge okay, but if it sits again, it leaks.
- There is a crack where the upper coolant hose connect to Radiator. I am fairly certain Radiator needs replaced, I'm not aware of any sort of patches. It can be driven with coolant handy.
It sounds silly, but other than this unfortunate new problem, I would trust this car over anything on the road thanks to World Proven LR restoration.
Please don't hesitate to reach out if you have any questions! I can DM my number. I am available to show the car any time and MUST SELL ASAP. I will seriously consider ANY offer.
I'm regrettably not an active member in the Socal Rover community, but would love this thing to end up with a forum member.

Some photos of all sides of the exterior, underside, engine bay, photos of the interior (headliner, floor boards, seats), and a clear description of what was restored/rebuilt in 2016 would be helpful.
