Description:

I'm thinking about selling my '95 Discovery. Green on tan two owner truck with 135K that was originally from So. California. I bought it ten years ago, but then I moved 3/4 time to FL so I barely drive it as it lives at my place in Maine. I've only put about 12K on it in 10 years - mostly sits in a dry garage on a battery tender, though I drive it a fair bit when I am here. It's really solid - no rot, just some surface rust underneath, it's only occasionally been driven in winter when I am in Maine (I try very hard to NOT be in Maine in the winter). *5spd*, no sunroofs base truck. The fabric seats have been replaced with tan leather seats that are in great condition (and I replaced the rubber straps in both seat bottoms) - no rips or tears (it's a 5-seater, and still has the cargo blind intact). Headliner has been replaced at some point in the past. Ice cold A/C. Has the "Range Rover clock" but it doesn't work. Cruise control upgraded to P38a control module and it works. Previous owner put Bilstiens on it. The original alarm was replaced with an aftermarket central locking controller, has two remotes and works fine too. Rear window ECU bypassed so those work too.

Mechanically, it's good. Runs strong, shifts fine, calipers, rotors, and pads replaced a year or so ago, with stainless brake hoses. Outside appearance is a bit "shabby chic". Has some clearcoat issues and paint fade - a truck you would not be afraid to take into the woods for sure. Or drive into Boston. :-) Did I mention it's not rotten? Has what I would call the usual level of "marks it's territory" for a British vehicle, and one cat probably needs to be replaced, it's a bit rattly. The other was replaced a couple years after I bought it, same issue. OBD-I so no CELs! In fact, no warning lights at all. Even the ABS works as it should, light goes right off as you start driving (that one baffled the state safety inspectors every time).

It is utterly stock other than a JVC headunit with the usual modern bells and whistles and those Bilsteins. I really have no idea what this is worth. Rougher ones seem to go for <$5K, prettier ones seem to be over $10K. Something around $7500? Happy to send copious pictures to anyone interested, I'll update this thread with some once it stops raining here! I don't really want to sell it, but like I said, I don't use it much and it doesn't really make sense to just have is sitting in the garage.
