Description:

Have to move on from my LR3 after 3+ years of ownership as the wife and I impulse purchased a '21 Jeep from a dude in the CarMax parking lot.  It's been great, and tho I've had some issues with it along the way, it's in great shape for the age.  A list of the things I've done (and remembered) is below.  I purchased it from a divorcee who used it as the family shuttle for 14 years and I believe the kids learned how to drive on it.  She purchased it as a lease return and there are dealer and specialist receipts documenting some of the work done along the way.  You would be the 4th owner.  I kept a running tally of the work I did on a list I can share if interested.  It's a balance of bringing it up to snuff when I bought it, maintenance, and break/fix.

The body is remarkably straight but suffers from clear coat failure on the hood and roof. The chassis is rust free and clean.  There is a tick when cold, and it may be a loose exhaust header bolt or 2.  It generally quiets when warm.  The truck recently started throwing a P0327 code when driving up long mountain roads. The code references a knock sensor signal too low, meaning it's not reporting data. The LR3 does not knock when this happens and it appears to be the sensor causing the problem itself. It's a 2 hour book rate job and I have a replacement sensor, I just haven't gotten around to it yet. The job seems to be the first half of the thermostat housing replacement. In spite of this occasional code, the truck has passed California smog.  I have the clear title in hand.

The air suspension works perfectly. All of the windows/lights/sunroof/seats/etc function as expected. CD changer under the passenger seat seems to work.  Roof bars.  Clean CA title in hand. It needs nothing other than someone to install the knock sensor (tho I'll get around to it if I find the time). $6500 obo

Anyone interested? Make me an offer. It runs great, has new tires, low miles, everything works.
