You need to go enjoy your Defender and not mess it up. Trust me, once you get used to it and learn how to use it off road, you will not have any competition.
As for the diffs, it is the Spider gears I am worried about, they won't really hold up to the tires you currently are running if your playing hard.
Take some time and get educated on what is needed, not what looks cool.
