Default another stupid newb question

I have just purchased a used brush guard for my 2000 DII. I noticed on British Atlantics website that there is a brush guard mounting kit and a brush guard stabalizer kit. Are both of the needed for mounting my brush guard and does anyone know if i have to cut holes through my bumper to mount it? Thanks

All depends on the brush guard you bought, they are all different.
