Default Brake booster & Master

Has anyone swapped in a beefier brake booster and master cyl into a Disco yet? It seems that a lot of the poor braking could be compensated for with more power.

Anyone know what PSI the current system is rated for, and any gotchas when looking at doing this?

I know the 03 had a bigger master cylinder installed along with some new soft ware for the ECU to enhance the brakes.

Yeah, and they're still not so good. I'm hoping that I can find some off the shelf part that'll just bolt right in. It's one part LR doesn't seem to have done funky.

Biggest improvement will come from larger calipers, you don't have any room for bigger rotors.

Larger calipers means more bore, which means more pressure needed. so either way a master upgrade will help a lot. We used to bore out the masters on race bikes to get the same power at less lever travel but that's a bit different of a game. If you need more power you need more master and a bigger booster.
