Picked one up wednesday for $125! (I know, couldnt pass it up) Needless to say, it fits with no alterations whatsoever. In case anyone wondered

I know it bolts up now, just learned that a few months ago, I had always been told that DI and DII bumpers were not interchangeable, but my info was wrong.
Hell, for that price even if it didnt fit you could have sold it for a profit.

 

Im a mechanic/fabricator. I would have MADE it fit! But yeah, i was getting quotes on materials to build one, when i saw that at the local wreckers, truck had just came in, looked like under its own power. Nothing looked out of place at all, so probably blown engine? Either way, doubt they had a chance to look it over yet, and honestly I think they were under the impression it just had a stock plastic bumper! When he told me that price i tried to keep a poker face and keep my hand from trembling as i reached for my wallet!

I recently rescued a 2000 D2 from the junkyard....it needs a few things but it'll be a runner..you made me jealous !.....the front bumper is #1 on the list....
