Hello, I just bought a beautiful wood rimmed steering wheel from one of this fine board's sponsors: Apsis

I just got it and was hoping to get some procedures on removing my stock steering wheel and air bag and installing my new one...? Anyone done this before?

I've heard it's simple but I just tried to remove the plastic covering over the air bag and it wont come off with out damaing it.

So any advice?

Do your self a favor and don't touch the steering wheel, sound like you have never handles an air bag before and it will rip your face off if you screw up. Beside firing the bag, you could break the spiral ring as well.
Take it to a shop and save yourself alot of hassel.
