Default Few modifications for RR 1996

Ok, today I took the plunge and bought Black 1996 RR 4,6L. (against all my friends advise)

I need 4x4 and I will make it work. I like the look and the car had everything repaired already (I am gambling here).

The best mechanic here in Costa Rica went over the whole car and fixed anything that had to be done.
Next, I like to take it to next level and play with some mods to make it look as much like Range Sport and perform better.
I was thinking to change lights, better flow exhaust and take of the cat converter, add side vents and perhaps chip it.

That's it for now.

What else can I do? Getting the best look, bit faster, keep reliability, and not spending tons of money.
I am looking for relatively inexpensive stuff that I can pick up on eBay or autowrecker etc.

Maybe I am naive, but I just hope it was done by millions of other people since 1995 and it's not a big secret.

I am also stuck in Costa Rica and doesn't help much - nothing is available here. Everything has to be ordered.

Thank you all in advance.

Please be nice to me, I am a complete newbie .......

Ivone

Default RE: Few modifications for RR 1996

I found this on eBay. Does anyone had experience with this stuff?

or

It's not what they say it is, but for $9 can't expect to much. Even if you get some improvement then it could be worth while.
