Gloss vs Matte Finish for letterin?

Default Gloss vs Matte Finish for letterin?
I am currently in the process of adding dynamic package modifications to my D5, Most of the finishes are gloss black but I am concerned this might look cheap on the letter badging, especually with wear? Any thoughts? Also are the black OEM letters gloss or matte?
