Default How to work out constant load if no other mods have been done

I’m looking to start upgrading my 2002 disco 2 for off-roading and wanted to start with suspension upgrades. However, it seems it’s very important to get a good idea of the front and rear load of the car so I can get the right springs. My question is if I’m going to add a bull bar that adds more weight to the car should I do this before or after the suspension and if I should do it before does that mean I should completely kit the car out before doing the suspension so I can have a better idea of the constant load.
