Call Jay Bradshaw at Volunteer Audio, (865) 435-9003. He can also be reached at jayabradshaw@aol.com.

He knows his stuff, and is a great guy. He and I were just talking about doing this to my 01 DII yesterday.

Default Bluetooth

I bought the AB iPod connection kit that plugs into the cd changer cable, then bought the Belkin Bluetooth home theater kit from the Apple store. Cut the ac cord and wired it in to a power source run from the cargo 12v source. Now I have Bluetooth connectivity with the factory stereo. Probably could have found a less expensive option, but I had a few gift certificates to blow and felt froggy. Works like a charm.

See, I did the same thing with the cassette adaptor. But, unfortunately, sound only comes out from one side, so it's useless.

Mike, I'd love to do that. But I emailed them and the installation process must be carried out by them, they are in Arizona. I'm in Tennessee.

Yes, I was in contact with them also. You have to send your head unit to them. Looks like they do a clean neat job
