If the back end gets too rusty or banged up, I guess cutting off is a viable option.

Wonder what Chip Foose would do to one? or those guys on Extreme 4x4. We should contact them as a group and see what we could get them to do!

I especially liked the TrayBack Version, looks kinda like a tow trucker minus the boom and that first one with the external pipe frame and then the red one with the external rollcage sort of like the modern Defenders.

Would an external pipe type rollcage be worthwhile? I may have to sign up for free classes at the local Vo-Tech Automotive classes. Be AARP/ Social Security/Senior Citizen I can attend for free. And work on the Recovery of my Discovery now known as MEANDEROVER. The SHARPIE lettering has faded, guess it's time to upgrade to real paint. I found a small jar of really old metalflake gold that has never been opened and still is in liquid form. Just got to find those artist brushes I had.
