New Defender Roofbars - Thule Wingbar Edge.. :(
So after a little confusion due to an updated version of the Thule wingbars edge for the New Defender, I've ended up with a pretty ugly solution from Thule..:

Fitting Kit 187122
Fixpoint Edge Foot Pack 720700
Wingbars 95 95
I'm not particularly happy with the base/fitting kit, they seem to sit very high - especially considering the fixed rail is already raised.
The fitting kit plastics which attach to the feet is awkwardly shaped and doesn't seem to mate with the feet very well. It looks a little botched together when compared with other kit/feet pairings. Especially when compared to the non-Edge examples. The fitting kit tapers thin, then the foot bulges out again.. Aesthetically, it's disappointingly ugly and by far the worst solution I've seen from Thule..

The fitting kit/foot connection looked odd enough that I had to check the instructions multiple times to confirm this was indeed the right way to fit them:

I am considering potentially shaving the plastics of the fitting kit down. removing an inch or so of the 'pad' and leaving just a thin layer of plastic for the main metal bracket to sit in. I'd need to be careful as the rear pads are taller than the front pads.
Fortunately, the bars are currently hidden below a roof basket. But I will be removing the bars when not in use with a box/basket.

lt's not the best looker, l admit.
At least it's easy to remove when not in use.
(lf l am allowed to name suppliers) Have a look at Craddocks (U.K.)
l think the company will post worldwide.
There's a L663 roof rack on their site and it looks a fair bit more integrated.
Also try Sterling Automotive, again in the U.K. so you'd have to look at shipping costs, theirs looks a lot better than the Thule one.
The only issue may be shipping for such a large item.
Do Land Rover not offer anything?
