Then had them media blasted and then powdercoated. Here is a pic. I just need tires and lift now.
I have seen these before and despite me currently being a broke, almost graduated college student, it was the look of these wheels that I didn't like. This is the first time I have seen anyone powder coat them and I will say they look much better. I'm going to attempt to trade my 18" with another Disco that has the 16" and then powder coat them matte black. Thank you for the pictures.

Default 15"?

Here's a question, instead of going bigger, has anyone gone down in size to 15"? The reason I'm asking is, there seems to be a pretty good choice of tires in 30x9.50x15 and 31x10.50x15, which would still give the 30"+ overall diameter, but on a smaller wheel, so there's more sidewall.

And just to confirm, the bolt pattern is 5x5.5? What about the offset? Other than BMW wheels, are there other factory wheels that might work?

Your signature says you've got a disco 1. Bmw wheels will not fit a disco 1. Bolt pattern is 5x6.5"

There are 15" wheels out there. There are even some factory land rover 15" wheels in 5x6.5" but they were for series and I have no idea if they will fit a D1. There are aftermarket wheels that will fit.
