Snorkle love!
I found a snorkel on Ebay awhile back for $100.00 and thought that was a pretty good deal. However I am a very cheap bastard and could not pass up this snorkel that I found on Ebay for $10.00. It was originally for a Jeep I think but it worked perfectly.
I was planning on mounting it at the windscreen driver side post but I really watched too many Mutual of Omaha shows when I was a kid and decided to mount it the way I remember it on the show.
I could not believe how easy it was to cut the hole in the fender...though I have become an expert with a grinder over the last several months.
Anyway enjoy...

Ah...McHale's Navy, I love that show! I did quite a bit of engineering for those Navy boys in my youth (IT related)...As far as Journey to the Bottom of the Sea..I own a 150-foot tug that is being converted to a houseboat/tourboat and the Rover rides on the back of it, so let's hope that doesn't happen.

Sorry no pic of Limey on her yet, this is before the renovation began.
As far as visual impairment the truck is equipped with 3 front facing cameras and matching monitors in the drive command center. The cameras have 180-degree overlapping lenses. I have 10 feet at 90-degree view from the front of the bumper both left to right and unlike most stock Rovers, I can see directly to the ground 6 inches from the front bumper.

The third gives me 270-degree aerial view as a fail-safe The truck also has 4 additional 360-degree cameras that are hooked up to a ShunXinDa Mini 4CH CCTV DVR. But that's for security mainly.

While I appreciate the razzing for my unique Snorkel placement I really could use some constructive help with my Fuel pump posting/problem.

Of course! But please answer my last question on the fuel post.
I guess since I have been such a good sport about this I should give you more ammunition than a silly snorkel.
This usually gets way more attention:

Great deal on an 8,000 pound winch - Land Rover Forums : Land Rover and Range Rover Forum
Still using that winch....

That is AWESOME! The fact that you had Series 3 Guy back you up is priceless........ So you hooked the winch up to a tree and went at it to prove a point? Point made, not a bad undercarriage either, pretty good shape I'd say. So why so many camera's?
The front ones are a must. The back one handy as heck and the rest just sort of happened. It used to cost so much for that sort of thing and now that entire setup only cost me $140.00.
The DVR is fun for offroading as it records all cameras without me having to think about it. That truck is sort of vandal magnet with all the gear and decals. It also has crash activation for insurance purposes.....toys..toys...toys
