Awesome, must be nice to have so much disposable income. Hope it holds together for you out in the wild.

Just got it back from the shop.

Installed Truu-Trac diffs front and rear, upgraded axles, and 3.9 gears. Can't really tell much difference with the True-Trac diffs on pavement, but I do notice the 3.9 gears. It pulls a little harder now, and acceleration (particularly going uphill) are noticeably better. Cruising on the highway at 75mph is still under 3000 rpm, which is good.

Finally found some shovel mounts that will work with my Thule roof rack system.

Next up is a front bar with recovery points.

Gotta find some time to take it out and play with it some.

Added some drawers from African Outback to better organize my gear.

The right drawer has a built in fridge slide, which will be nice for my ARB fridge/freezer.

It just gets more and more awesome. Pardon my ignorance, but what ratio was the stock gearing?

Love the Roof Top Tent deal. Mobile base it is my man. Great job, keep up the good work. But do ensure that you don't overlook servicing the normal items as well.

I think the stock gears are 3.54

I've been doing a lot of preventative maintenance.

Don't put recovery gear in the drawers, it would totally suck to be stuck in a spot where you can't open the boot door.

To bad their website is kinda hard to navigate. Was that custom set up you had made or is it available?

It was not custom, just "off the shelf."

I've heard rumors that African Outback is getting a new US distributor. (They're at SEMA this year, and are supposed to be putting US distribution in place.)
