Default Terrafirma Diff Guards installed on D2

Wanted to share some pics of the Terrafirma Diff Guards installed on my 04 D2. Install was very straight forward, a simple bolt on affair. Will end up powder coating them black when I get some free time.

Rear Diff: "Note" Re-used 2 OEM Bolts for front mounting point (under u joint of rear drive shaft) of the diff as they were slightly longer and offer more thread engagement than supplied bolts that came with kit.

Powder coating them Black may be pointless after my first rock encounter, but just not feeling the gold. Maybe I can get used to it..

I installed mine yesterday and the front guard was touching the diff. There’s supposed to be space in between all parts correct?

I love the Terrafirma diff guards but I'm not a fan of the gold either. I was thinking about painting them myself with something I can easily spot fix.

I was just wondering about skit plates. Those are dope (the gold is a little crazy lol). I'll have to look them up for my 99.
