I just acquired my 04 Disco yesterday and am wondering what the rubbery item is on the front bumper. can it be removed easily?

Also there is a crack in the underlying bumper. can just that section be replaced or do I need a whole new bumper? There is a photos of the crack and the rubbery bumper attached. Thank you!

Here is a photo of the rubbery bumper I would like to remove. I was unable to post two thumbnails into my original thread.

 

take the rubber off. sell it. buy a new cover to replace cracked one, or epoxy sand and paint it

 

It is a rover off road light bar/ brush guard if the same as my lr3 it is held by 4 bolts and leaves 4 holes in the bumper cover

 

I've been trying to find that light bar for my 04. Do you still have it?
