Are you lifted, what size tire are you running and why do you want wheel spacers?

not lifted yet, but have a 2"er on the way. i am on regular 235/70/r16 but am moving up to 265/70/r16. i want to eliminate the "sunken" look of the tires.

I bought mine out of Rovers North for my 97 D1. Check out their website. Not cheap though.

Wheel spacers will cause an extra load/wear factor on your bearings. I would not promote it just for the sakes of looks.

do they boost your performance at all? im still relatively new to rovers. ive only had mine since march. also, what is a good gear ratio that would work well off road, and as a daily driver?

They won't boost your power at all. As for gear ratio, once you go to a 265 you will want 4:11's.

The only reason I put spacers on my D1 was to stop my 265's (32 inch tires) from rubbing on the inner suspension on tight turns. My local offroad shop ( good Jeep place but little work on LR's) recommended them.

Disco Mike is right, unless you really need them you probably should not use them. You can now find some on ebay for the Rover so try there if you want some cheap ones, they will be about $90 pair. Spacers are fine if you are going to change to a different offset that will still equal the factory offset, I have done that on my BMW. Went from low offset to high for the type of wheel I wanted to run, essentially I did not change the distance that the wheel actually sits in relation to the suspension.

I would say of you really wanted then you should be fine for street use but be prepared for a possible issue when you wheel it hard.
