Default 2017 D5 with RRS SVR Brembo Conversion

Completed a front brake swap (June 2020) on my 2017 D5 HSE LUX, with 2016 RRS SVR Calipers and Power Stop Z36 Drilled/Slotted Rotors and pads

It is a direct swap. No need to remove the backing plate.
Simple as removing the old caliper, replace the crush washers and bolting back together with new pads and rotors.

The calipers are actually have a little smaller radius than the factory D5/LR4 Calipers.
Prior to installing the calipers I had to use a 10mm wheel spacer for my 20" RRS wheels.

Here are a few pictures

That looks very nice!
I’m curious how much difference there is in deep and performance in the real world?

There is a noticeable difference.
I live in a hilly mountainous area. So no brake fade, and significantly better performance when towing.

Wasn't horrible.
Was able to source the calipers from Ebay, and rebuild them for less than $700 (Took some patience, as i wanted the SVR Blue at a reasonable cost). But any RR or RRS 6 Pot Brembo will fit.
Then the cost of the pads an rotors was less than $300 from Amazon.
So for $1k, can have drastically improved performance, looks, and an amazing cool factor.

I used to be an EBC and Hawk snob. But the Power Stop kit has been nothing short of impressive.
Little to no dust, great performance, looks great (I live in a salt state, so rust free never happens).
So good in fact I put a matching set in the rears last fall too.

Great work. Really like it.
Question

Are you talking 1k per wheel? Used calipers are quite expensive even on eBay. Do you have the same calipers in the rear or is it smaller?
I really want to do this mod myself.
any help will be greatly appreciated.

No 1K total.
Patience is key.
I picked the calipers up for a reasonable price. Rebuilt them, because I did not know their history. Total into the calipers, with rebuilding was less than $700.
Also I was set on getting a set of SVR Blue Calipers, any Land Rover/Range Rover 6piston Brembo will fit.

There's a set for sale in the marketplace section of this site.

Did the front brakes change at some point between 2017 and 2020? Or did the 7-passenger (or Landmark) get bigger calipers?

I've got a 2020 Landmark, and my front setup is pretty massive (my T3 Touareg had the factory Brembo setup, and I've been wondering if my D5 does as well).

Wow this is pretty impressive, considering this for my disco 5 which is needing new rotors and pads.
Just need to source parts here in New Zealand. Wish me luck.
