Default After Purchase Water Wading Option

Has anyone gone to the dealer after the fact and asked the dealer if the wading sensor feature could be added? I already have the surround camera system (which I believe has the correct cameras/sensors already), so I'm curious if it's just a SW pack that gets added.

Sadly I don't know the answer but I was actually afraid you had a REALLY serious roof leak . . .

Interested in hearing the answer though.

Hahaha, still haven’t got the rear leak solved...

I emailed LR last night asking about the option. Will report back.

Default Looking forward to their response

I’m in similar situation with HSE Lux package with 360 camera view etc and it seems like they would have included this feature into the option package with Parking or Drive assist rather than a low price separate option.

This might be a good question to ask to Gap-diagnostics. Hopefully this is something that can be enabled via IID-tool.
its been 4 years since the Discovery 5 has been out and gap diagnostic is still lacking in development for the discovery 5...

Well, LR corporate responded with check with your dealer. According to my local dealer, it’s not possible to add. Kind of frustrating because that seems to always be the answer from them.

I’ll reach out to GAP, but they don’t have a lot of capability for the LR5 - just live data and air suspension adjustments. No plan for when things like speedometer calibration will be available.

maybe if more of us reach out to them they will put more effort in developing their product for the discovery 5

Wade Sensing is absolutely available in the US. All the wade sensors are, are parking sensors.

Maybe you could help. I’m trying to spec it in the JLR RR site and don’t see any options on even SV models
