Aren't the standard 22" 285's?

Hello all,

posting after lurking here for a while.

Picked up a 17 Diesel HSE in January. CPO led the dealer to put new Goodyear Eagle F1-AT on which I am able to sell privately as they’re essentially new after an immediate swap for winter tires.

The wheels are 8.5 x 20”. Very limited AT options in 255/55/20 (stock), basically Falken or Toyo ATIII which are back ordered in my area. Have any of you running 275/55/20 put them on the stock 8.5 x20 wheel? Is that too wide a tire?

thanks.

Check my previous post about the new tires I just put on. They work great at 275/55/20 on the stock wheels with no lift.

I am on the factory original Land Rover wheels that came with the US model of a 2017 D5 HSE.
The window sticker states: 20" 10 Split-Spoke Style 1011 as a $500 option.
I haven't checked the wheel size and I don't know how to find out the wheel size.
I've been running 275 55 20 Yokohamas for about 10K miles with no issues I'm aware of. They run quietly, smoothly, and behave nicely.
No rubbing but I have the 1.5 inch lift rods. I don't know if they'd rub without the rods, probably not.

Those are standard 20inch LR wheels with 8.5 inch width. They come with 255/55R20 as standard. But seems that 275 runs fine too

I just ordered the new Mickey Thompson Baja Boss A/T tires at 275 55 R20. I had to go direct through their website because the model is so new... 4-6 weeks for delivery. Those will be my off road set, keeping my Pirelli all-season as my daily driver. Got a used/refurbished set of range rover wheels for the extra set. Although, the new wheels may get the daily drivers!

I'll post pics of the new tires once mounted.

I’ve been running 275/55r20 duratracs on OEM 20’s for about 7,000 miles and they’ve been great. They’re louder than stock so if that bothers you I wouldn’t get them. Anything really good off-road is going to be louder.

im trying to see what needs to be done to fit the 18” compomotive wheel with a full 33” if anyone has any insight there
