Anyone seen this? (Symmetrical rear tailgate)
I saw this on YouTube and wondered if anyone had purchased this? It is a tailgate insert that makes the license plate, etc symmetrical on the Disco 5.

Off topic, but I really wish they kept the split rear gate vs the new larger liftgate and the interior foldgate thing. My brother has the LR4 (had a LR3 as well) and I liked the split gate. A few friends have Land Cruisers with the split rear gate as well, it helps to limit weight and size in a garage of the rear gate (plus the handy lower portion to sit on or keep gear inside on a slope.

I miss my LR3 tailgate to sit on but the interior foldgate thing does work instead. I don't miss the creaking noise and rattle I got from my old 2 piece tailgate. Change is tough.
I was going to buy an LR4 because I liked my LR3 so much but for $50K to get a clean low mileage 2016 LR4 that seemed like a lot of money to drive away with almost my same vehicle, except for a bit more performance and transmission gears.
After owning my D5 for a few weeks I can tell you that the ride is much better, performance much, much better (I drive in the Colorado mountains frequently), sunroof is much quieter, gas mileage is better, etc.
One thing I do miss is the under seat storage room beneath the second row seats and below the floor inside the tailgate. The D5 has the 3rd row seats that I will never use and thus no under floor storage. And I can't even remove the 3rd row seat head restraints to make more room in the footwell - I have the electric folding seats and the head restraints don't come off.
Soon, I'll even be smart enough to change the radio station easily.
