Default Battery Disconnect

Morning all,

can anyone guide me as to how to disconnect the battery to perform a hard system reset.

Have located the battery itself, need a quick tutorial on how to perform the disconnect please!

thanks all!

Disconnect the negative cable first anytime you're servicing the battery or electrical.

I do this once a year, always negative first, then positive and touch the cables together for about 30 seconds (to be clear, not while the cables are attached to the battery!). This may be 'controversial/debatable' but I have done this with every car I've owned since 2002 and never had an issue. Clears the electronic Gremlins.
